Bio

Li-Chen is a 4th-year Ph.D. Student (2021 Fall) in Professor Sayeef Salahuddin's research group in EECS at UC Berkeley. She is interested in developing novel semiconductor materials and process integration for pathfinding aggressive technology nodes of semiconductor logic, RF, and memory devices. Li-Chen is very interested in contributing to the semiconductor/display industry after obtaining her Ph.D. degree.

Research

I am currently working on ultra-thin ferroelectric negative capacitance materials for MOSFET, and I have hands-on experience in a wide variety of nanoscale semiconductor device related fields, including Si-based CMOS device processing and wafer fabrication techniques for ultra-thin body short-channel (Lg<50nm) RF transistors, data analyses and/or tool techniques of material characterization and metrology, data extraction and measurement of electrical characterizations for short-channel MOSFET, and TCAD Sentaurus modeling in device/process simulation.
