Bio

Wenbo Ji received his bachelor’s degree from University of Science and Technology of China. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, UC Berkeley, under the supervision of Professor Ali Javey. His research is related to low-temperature growth and surface modification processes of semiconductors.

Research

Wenbo Ji mainly focuses on low-temperature growth and surface modification processes for silicon and III-V materials, aiming to high-quality growth, enhanced surface passivation and low contact resistivity, which explores their potential application in the area of solar energy harvesting and electronic/optoelectronic devices.
