Bio

Gautam Gunjala is a Ph.D. student in the Computational Imaging Lab at UC Berkeley, advised by Prof. Laura Waller, and is affiliated with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory. He received his B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) and Engineering Mathematics and Statistics from UC Berkeley in 2016.

Research

Gautam’s research aims to develop aberration measurement and correction techniques that can be integrated into imaging systems or processes, with an emphasis on applications to EUV and X-ray optical systems. His current work on X-ray adaptive optics is supported by a DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research award.
