Hanuman Singh
Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Advisor: Prof. Jeffrey Bokor
BETR Research Thrust: Embedded Memory
Bio
Hanuman completed his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), India in 2018. His PhD research was focused on synchronization of spin torque nano oscillators with magnetic field feedback. After his PhD, Hanuman joined the Bokor group in EECS at UC Berkeley in September 2018 to explore the research in the field of electric field control of magnetization switching and probing ultrafast switching dynamics in IMT oxides.
Research
His current research is focused on the electric field control of magnetization and probing the ultrafast switching dynamics in IMT oxides. Specifically, in these projects his focused is to integrate Spin orbit torque effect with strain effect generated through multiferroic heterostructure by applying electric and probing the ultrafast switching dynamics of IMT oxides (LaCoO3) using pump probe technique with femtosecond laser.
