Graduate Student
Research Advisor: Prof. Ramamoorthy Ramesh
BETR Research Thrust: Spin-Based Logic
Bio
Xiaoxi Huang is a fourth year Ph.D. student with Professor Ramamoorthy Ramesh in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Nanjing University, China in July 2017.
Research
My research focuses on developing novel oxide materials that could change the way we currently store information. In particular, I work on design, synthesis, characterization of these complex oxide materials and study the efficient charge-spin interconversion in complex oxides, which could potentially facilitate the application of magnet-based information storage devices such as magnetoresistive random access memory (MRAM).
