Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Advisor: Prof. Ana Arias
BETR Research Thrust: Printed and Flexible Electronics
Bio
After receiving her master degree from Renmin University of China in 2012, Juan moved to University of Münster in Germany for her Ph.D. studies. Afterwards, she joined Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a postdoc researcher. In 2017, she joined the University of California, Berkeley, as a visiting scholar, where she is now a postdoctoral scholar (since June 2019).
Research
My master thesis focused on unconventional fabrication and characterization of micro/nano structures by soft lithography. In my Ph.D. study, I worked on area selective growth of functional molecule architectures for organic electronics. I am current working on flexible electronics for health care and motion monitoring, including printed OLEDs, OPDs and multifunctional electronic skin (strain sensors, pressure sensors and thermal sensors).
